My name is Traci McCarthy and I have been a resident of Grayson County since 1998. When I first relocated to Sherman I worked as a director with Pampered Chef which taught me the understanding and importance of great customer service, loyalty, and dedication to my clients.
When I joined the Ebby Halliday team in 2013, It was a natural move to combine my passion for excellent customer service with real estate, I devote myself to serving the needs of my clients before, during, and after each transaction and the greatest compliment I receive is their referrals.”
Buying or selling a home can be a very complicated and overwhelming process. My approach is very hands-on and professional. I take time to truly get to know my clients and learn what their needs and expectations are. I have adopted Ebby’s culture of giving back to the community by volunteering for Meals on Wheels, Santa for Seniors, adopting Wesley Village Seniors Center in Denison, collecting school supplies for local schools, and Walk to End Alzheimer’s, which is the charity that is deeply personal to me, and I am most passionate about after losing my dad to the dreaded disease.
I grew up in a military family with my father serving in the Air Force and relocated to several locations which led me to meeting my husband, Michael, in Virginia. We have been happily married since 1988 and have two beautiful children Megan and Michael.
Megan earned her Doctorate Degree as a CRNA from Texas Wesleyan University and currently works at Texoma Medical Center in the Sherman-Denison area and Michael earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University and is currently working for a NASA contractor (Odyssey Space Research) in the Houston area. Family is everything to me and I have a passion for doing what’s right for my family AND yours.
